Aware Records does not currently accept unsolicited material. This changes from time to time so please continue to check the website for more information. In the meantime, please do not send packages, they will not be listened to and will be sent back to you. Also, please do not email MP3s. They will not be listened to and will be deleted. Thanks for understanding.
- Do you offer any internships?
Aware Records offers unpaid internships in the following time periods: May-August, September-December and January-April. Since Aware headquarters are in Evanston, IL, all interns must have housing in/around Evanston and must provide their own transportation to and from work. College credit is available where applicable. If you think you might be interested, please send an email requesting more information to iwantaninternship@awaremusic.com.
- I'm confused. What's the difference between Aware and A-Squared?
Aware acts as both a record label and artist management company under the same roof. As a label we currently support Mat Kearney and Guster. However, we also manage many arists on different labels and in different fields including A Rocket To The Moon, Angel Taylor, Anya Marina, Brandi Carlile, Cary Brothers, Five For Fighting, Jack's Mannequin, Jason Lehning, Leslie, Mat Kearney, Motion City Soundtrack, Steven Taylor, This Providence, and Vedera.
- What distributor is Aware affiliated with?
Aware Records has a joint venture with Universal Republic Records and is distributed through Universal Motown Republic Group.
